I've tried different ways to remove makeup but I find myself going back to wipes or micellar water. Force of habit: wipes are cheap while micellar water removes the grimiest of grime effectively.
My go-to drugstore brand Cetaphil has cleansing cloths that are great for travel and quick makeup removal. I hoard wipes like it's the dawn of apocalypse so a repurchase is definitely happening. {buy here}
Infused with organic grape water and camomile, Makeup Remover Cleansing Water is my ultimate favorite from Caudalie. It smells so fresh and leaves my skin ultra-soft. The only con is its inability to completely remove waterproof mascara and heavy-duty eyeliner. I may repurchase. {buy here}
Murad Essential- C Cleanser jumpstarts my morning skincare with its inviting citrus scent. I love that it has Vitamins A, C, and E to fight free radicals. Anything to delay aging, you bet I'm in. I will buy when I'm done with other cleansers. {buy here}
Exfoliation is second nature to me. I do it 3-4 times a week, especially in colder months when my skin is awfully patchy. Satsuma Body Polish is one of my favorites from The Body Shop. I love its orange fragrance. It scrubs just right; meaning it does not grate my skin like I'm a cheese. Already repurchased. {buy here}
When I dyed my hair caramel blonde last December, this Caviar Anti-aging Replenishing Moisture Masque from Alterna was highly recommended by my hairstylist. She advised me to use it every now and then, preferably after four washings to keep my hair well moisturized. Well guess what, I used all of it but didn't really like it. For some odd reasons, it made my hair puffy and quite dry. Waste not so despite my uneventful experience, I finished the tub. On a positive note, I like the scent plus it did preserve my hair color (about to finish Alterna Caviar shampoo and conditioner).
What have you consumed this month? feel me in!
I love all things TBS Satsuma, and that body polish is so nice! My 'empty' bust for the month was Hair One conditioning shampoo. I couldn't finish it. I used it a couple of times, and it left my hair like a grease ball.
ReplyDeleteI love TBS Satsuma. It's like happiness in a bottle to me! Haven't tried the hair mask, but I would like to give that brand a try!
ReplyDeleteI need to try TBS Satsuma products. I have heard so many great things about the fragrance, and I love orange!
ReplyDeleteI just finished 2 huge liter bottles of TIGI Resurrection shampoo and conditioner. Feels great to finish something! And that Satsuma scent is true love btw, LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing that you use Body Shop
ReplyDeleteI just finished a Body Shop body gel, Fresh face oil, Aveeno body lotion and Skin Authority Resurfacing Accelerator. I run through skin care products much quicker than makeup.
ReplyDeleteI love Body Shop. Vineyard Peach is my fave scent, husband is crazy for Satsuma.
ReplyDeleteI love running out of stuff
ReplyDeleteI LOVE micellar water - just finished the Nuxe version; need to try the Caudalie one. I'm a huge fan of the Murad Essential C cleanser (the whole C range) as well. Will do my empties post tomorrow :D
ReplyDeleteEmpty posts are so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteThat sucks about the masque =( Kudos for finishing it, tho. I probably would've passed it on to someone else lol
ReplyDeleteI had a similar experience with Alterna hair care. The formula I was using actually ruined my hair for a while. I had rate, dry hair for months. I was sooo freaking pissed.
ReplyDeleteYay for empties... I need to start taking photos of them... I think they would inspire me more to get things finished if I had seen it! I am so bad about moving on to the next product without finishing.
ReplyDeleteGirl I love those Cetaphil towels, they are SO good.
ReplyDeleteGreat empties! I think I've sampled that Murad cleanser and really liked it.
ReplyDeleteI am almost to the end of a serum that I love. I will be sad to see it go...
