I must say, it takes me a minute or two (sometimes three) to groom and define my brows every single day. I can forgo eyeliner or mascara but never pristine brows. I have tried a gamut, from powder to cream to pencil and while each one requires familiarization, I find pencil to be the easiest to use. Enter Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil, the latest to grace my ever expanding collection.
Sold in nine shades ($32 each), I received Soft Brunette and Warm Brunette, with the latter just a tad darker but overall still a good match for my medium skin tone. It's double-ended, bearing a spoolie brush on one side and a slanted retractable pencil on the other.
If you adore natural looking brows (read: no Instagram and overly-drawn brows), then you will find this product your best ally. It's creamier than my other favorite Tom Ford Brow Sculptor, hence there is less dragging yet more color payoff involved with Hourglass. Its duo-functionality makes it travel-friendly and practical so a purchase is imminent down the line.
what's your go to brow product?

I love the angled brush with these Hourglass pencils
ReplyDeleteI am loving that triangular tip. I have over-tweezed recently and need to fill up my brows every day.
ReplyDeleteLovely review, twinsy! I love mine!
ReplyDeleteGood to know it's creamy! I prefer brow pencils too, but I find most of them to be too hard and chalky.
ReplyDeleteI need softer brow products that blend better. This sounds like it might fit the bill!
ReplyDeleteI love mine also, Hourglass knows what they are doing in this beauty world heheh
ReplyDeleteSounds really easy to use. I like that they offer so many colors.
ReplyDeleteThey both look too warm for me but I love that they give you natural looking brows
ReplyDeleteI liked how these weren't too creamy or soft and was not too stiff!
ReplyDeleteThe triangular tips intrigue me! Plus the packaging is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you got good results, they are kind of pricey though.
ReplyDeleteI like the new Pixi eyebrow gel pencil as well as their eyebrow palette. I wish I could see swatches of all the Hourglass colors, it seems they sent everyone the same shades.
ReplyDeleteThose look really cool. I love the triangular-shaped pencil. Right now, I'm all about the pencil, too. It Cosmetics Brow Power in Universal Taupe has been my go-to lately.
ReplyDeleteI need some serious help on my brow game, lol.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a brow pencil user but these look nice!
ReplyDeleteThat shape looks perfect. I really need to try these.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! I like the lighter one ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteOMG lack of sleep- you didn't show them on you LOL what I meant to say is that these are gorgeous, and I'm hoping you'll wear them in a future post so I can see them on you. I'm such a dork. I was thinking those words and typing while watching Doc Mc Stuffins and typed something totally different haha.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous arm, haha. If you want to see, I used them on my brows on YSL lippies I posted on 9/22/15.
DeleteI love creamy brow pencils...
ReplyDeleteI'll need to check these out. I prefer natural looking brows by far!
ReplyDeleteI love the sleek designs and angles of these brow products...I am slowly using products for my brows which I am new to doing for a more complete makeup look!
