No, I won't buy any lipsticks anymore...said no lipstick junkie ever. It's a habit that's infallibly difficult to break. C'mon, how can you resist Yves Saint Laurent's newly-released Rouge Pur Couture Kiss and Love Limited Edition? Seeing the ultra-cute lips embossment up-close makes me weak in the knees. For real.

An offshoot of the original Rouge Pur Couture line, this limited edition features five stunning shades (Le Nu, Le Fuchsia, Le Orange, Le Rouge, VIB Rouge exclusive Black Red, $36 each). I have Le Nu, your basic lips-but-better-kind-of-nude and Le Fuchsia or hot pink for the spelling-challenged, haha! But seriously, if you desire enviable opacity, creaminess and luminosity all in one tube, these lippies are worth every nickel and dime.

Similar to other YSL lipsticks, they are opulently housed in faux gold casing and consistent with Rouge Pur Couture line, their packaging look edgier and sophisticated. Le Fuchsia glides seamless with satin matte finish. Le Nu has more of a glossy feel and tends to accentuate lip line so exfoliation is recommended prior to application. If you are familiar with YSL lip products, then you know that they are fragranced (tropical fruit) so that's one consideration I have to point out. I have purchased a ton of YSL lippies so obviously the scent does not bother me.

    Oh my gosh - as I said to you earlier, I love love the packaging and embossing on these... it would make me not want to use them. The packaging is so gorgeous. The colors look great on you girl... that pink - wowzers, hot mama.
