Last week, I shared the first wave of my Sephora VIB Rouge haul via a video; As expected, this makeup junkie picked up some limited edition lipsticks to add to my diversified collection; Come check out the shades and buy 'em before they sell out! Drooling not prohibited, be my guest.

Let's start with Kat Von D Studded Kiss Holiday Lipstick ($21). The usually black studded case got redressed for the holidays. Edgy in gunmetal polished tube, I picked up the best-selling shade Lolita II which is terra-cotta nude. Finally, a KVD lipstick that agrees with my lips! I like the satin finish and overall wearability.
Anastasia also came out with a holiday limited edition liquid lipstick called Allison ($20). Already a fan of other shades, I am most certain that Allison would be as endearing. And it did not disappoint! Described as pinky brown, it is a nice fall shade if you are branching to darker shades without departing from your comfort zone, neutral that is (see it in action, I am wearing it in this video)!
Mauvember, what a catchy name by Bite Beauty. This limited edition is ultra-pigmented and hydrating, something I desire this time of the year. The tube has mustache in it, a cute addition I must say! I am surprised that it looks pink purple on my lips and not exactly mauve. Not that it's bad because I'm the type to wear any shade but here, be my gracious judge...
Feeling gothic? this limited edition matte formula from Urban Decay (Troublemaker) is not for the faint of heart. It is deep oxblood, almost blackened berry on my lips.
I also got a deluxe size of Too Faced Melted Matte Sell Out, it's warm nude and while the formula isn't as good as Anastasia, it's a decent one and somewhat similar to Stila.

I love that this is the "lipstick edition" of your haul. You look great in such a range of shades! For me, Kat von D's Lolita is the winner. I love that shade
ReplyDeleteThanks Allison. I like it too, such a nice wearable shade
DeleteThere's no surprise that you loaded up on lipstick since I know how you love them. These all look so great on you. Troublemaker is stunning on you.
ReplyDeleteI'm linking that Kat Von D lipstick!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Lolita came in bullet form. I bought the liquid lippie last year and it was a bit too dark for my liking.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous. I have been loving deeper lippies lately.
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessing over Lolita II !
