I was really adamant to publish this post not because it isn't important but simply, the photo below isn't cutting it for me. Brain constipation, creativity slacking. I know a re-shoot is the answer but last weekend, I de-stashed again and part of the ginormous throw-aways included the plastic bag which contained these empties. But then again, why even stage products that are about to be thrown away? oh well, husband says I tend to over-analyze things so let's cut to the chase, shall we?

May was awesome because all these were full-sized empties! Note that they weren't consumed entirely in May but a year-to-date accomplishment. Last drop of life last month, so to speak.
You've seen me featured By Terry Cellularose Moisturizing CC Cream (reviewed here and here) numerous times; it's my favorite light coverage, tinted-slash-moisturizer-slash-skincare of all time as I haven't found a CC cream that has the same calibre. It's a great everyday makeup most especially during warmer months. I have also finished Guerlain BB Hydra Plus (reviewed here) although it took me quite a while because I have been testing out several other brands here and there. It has lighter coverage than By Terry so if you have close-to-perfection visage, this is the only thing you need, if you desire to add some color. The only con? it's sold in only two shades, a very common drawback amongst the BBs of this world.
It's a month for Strivectin! As mentioned in this post, this skincare brand has expanded to haircare. If you color your hair frequently like I do, the orange line is worth checking out most especially the Color Care Vibrancy because it does boost hair color like magic! I have plans of repurchasing it plus the shampoo and conditioner once I'm done with all other products from my stash. A lover of facial mask, I have also finished Strivectin Instant Revitalizing Mask (reviewed here). It's one of those products that wowed me after first use because it did brighten my rather dull-looking face so yeah, a repurchase is inevitable.
Lifeline Molecular Renewal Serum (reviewed only in April here) has to be the fastest product I consumed in the last year or so because I found it to be effective in keeping my skin well hydrated and supple, in combination with all other serums and moisturizers I use on a daily and nightly basis. It renders retinol-like efficacy without irritation.
Another mask I enjoyed was Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless (reviewed here) although it took me a while to finish it. Again, I have a lot in my stash that I rotate; waste not, want not. It's messy and tricky to dispense but it does make my at-home spa worth the hassle, haha!
There is nothing I tried from Lather that I didn't adore. Their Coconut Foaming Body Scrub is like heaven on earth. It exfoliates without being harsh. Add the smell of coconut, ahh...paradise in your bath tub!
Another love at first use, Farmhouse Fresh Citrine Beach Body Milk Lime and Coconut (reviewed here) is a genius concoction of tropical wonderment. I like both scents, it's Hawaii in a tube baby!
I am glad to have discovered and tried these products, they are worth checking out ladies!

WOWZA, that is one impressive pile of empties! You put my little pile to shame with all of your full size products! Nice job, twinsy! Love the picture of you and your pup! <3
ReplyDeleteMahalo twinsy. It's a pat on the back when we finish things ha? Lol
DeleteI'm so impressed that you finished up the CC and BB creams especially since you just recently reviewed them. It takes me forever to finish foundation. I'm loving the StriVectin haircare line for color-treated hair. I only wash every 4-5 days so thankfully mine still have a way to go. They have become my favorites! PS I love the scarf that you used as your background. I don't think I've ever figure out how to make empties look attractive, but I'd say that you did!
ReplyDeleteI have already repurchased By Terry couple of times since last year when I first reviewed it. The last recent post was a comparison vs Giorgio Armani. I wash my hair the same frequency but I have longer hair so I use more :-)
DeleteI started my empties post too, but I still need to take pictures. Isn't it funny how we love to take pictures of our trash?! You used up some nice products. I love the StriVectin hair products too!
ReplyDeleteLol, I think it's because we consider it an accomplishment!
DeleteYAY for full size empties! That Lather scrub sounds like it smells amazing, I need to try that!
ReplyDeleteYou will love it for sure
DeleteThat's a lot to finish in the same month and even more impressive since they are full size. I love anything Farmhouse Fresh!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cumulative empties, they just happened to have their last drop of life in May
DeleteI seriously need to try out Farmhouse Fresh!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing empties (I'm nosy like that...) I definitely need some Farmhouse Fresh products in my life.
