Currently sold at CVS (stores and online), BeYu Cosmetics market a full line of makeups: think foundation, eyeshadow, bronzer, blush, lipsticks, among others. The Velvet Mat Foundation (30ml, $21.99) is quite a revelation, it's oil-free and the finish vis-a-vis consistency reminds me of MUFE Mat Velvet. It's packaged in a plastic squeezable tube with twist-up cap. The shade I received is 18 Honey Chiffon which translates to medium with pink undertone. It's close to my neck color but a tad lighter on my face (as photographed below).
One squeeze is enough to cover my entire face. It's on the thick side and dries quite fast so it needs a quick hand in blending and buffing. My most favorite way of applying it is to spritz my face first with either rosewater or any facial mist within my reach, then use a foundation brush to blend and buff. This technique thins its finish quite a bit but still delivers a full matte effect. Without primer (but over serum and moisturizer), I get 8-9 hours of wear time with minimal fading. Oxidization is not an issue but it does make my face appear dewy towards the latter part of the day.
Next up is the Color Catch Eye Palette 328 (.08 oz, $11.99). This particular palette is called Mermaid Blue and features teal and dark greens in varying finish and texture. All four shades have moderate color payoff if applied dry but superbly pigmented when wet. With eye primer, I did not experience unsightly creasing. The Soft Liner 667 (.04 oz, $8.99) is a beautiful teal shade with quality comparable to Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. It is smudge-free and did not irritate my eyes, at least based from my experience.
Finally, let's cover Care and Shine Gloss Stick 38 (.12 oz, $12.99). It's a glossy orange red shade with balm-like finish. It's a fabulous shade for spring, and even for summer!
I used all aforementioned products for my makeup below. I applied teal (on lids) wet and blended with dark green on the crease. I used the eyeliner on my waterline and smudged teal and dark green along the lower lash line. I swiped the lipstick twice to intensify its color.
Have you tried anything from BeYu? What's your go-to spring makeup?

I'm loving those teals on you! And that lippie goes beautifully with the eye colours. This post makes me want to dig up my teal shadows.
