HOLIDAY MAKEUP | Black Smokey Eyes and Luminous Berry Lips

Christmas is few days away, my oh my! Are you done with shopping yet? in case you need a hand, kindly check out my holiday gift ideas. Anyways, today's makeup is what I intend to do on the 25th, dark smokey eyes and luminous berry lips. With my new blacker than black mane, I feel like rocking dark looks recently. Plus it's winter, anyone can be forgiving, haha!

The products I used were mainly from Borghese. Here are snapshots of these beauties:

For my eye makeup, I used the Borghese Shadow and Light Luminous Eye Palette (full review here). I started with Immortal (black matte with fine glitters) all over the lids then applied Out There  (shimmery pewter) on crease. For added dimension, I applied Downfall (matte dark brown) on the outer corner. I also smudged Immortal and Downfall on the lower lash line. Creamy and uber-pigmented, Borghese is a nice eyeliner, that is if you don't wear contacts. While it is virtually budge-free on my upper lash line, there's a slight migration when used on the waterline. The mascara on the other hand gives natural-looking lashes so for this particular look, I needed to layer with another mascara with thicker formula.

Normally I would skip a face primer but with extended wear time, meltdown in between the festivity is the least of my concerns. Borghese Face Primer does deliver so I'm happy to add it to my stash. It feels like a moisturizer and dries to a matte finish. After that, I applied foundation, concealer, setting powder and luminous powder for the extra holiday glow. For my lips, I swiped Borghese Moisture Lipcolor in Grappa then topped with Borghese Lipgloss.
