With mammoth of a hair, I'm telling you right now that it takes a village to style my hair. Okay that's totally pun but seriously, my day-to-day 'do is pretty much laid-back, either pony tail or barrette bun (tutorial here). Now that doesn't mean I'm a gadget snob because I have quite a stash, enough to convert my woman cave to a demi- hair salon. The latest to grace my fancy-nation? say hello to T3 Twirl 360!
Give your wrist a rest, that's how I can succinctly describe this chicest and coolest hair tool! With motion-sensing technology, the barrel auto-rotates as you move your hand towards your desired direction. It takes practice to perfect the craft but really, it ain't that hard to learn the basics: turn on power, clamp hair, push button, curl from the bottom, move hand away, unclamp to release. I prepared a short video because showing is believing...
Presentation-wise, I like the combination of white barrel and rose gold embellishment. It's mod and sleek at the same time. It has five heat settings and two speed levels, something to consider depending on your "skill level". Quote unquote because the first time I tried this gadget, some strands got tangled, haha! For the most part, curls or waves are determined by your hair vulnerability. Meaning, some sections are wow, some are okay, some so-so. What ultimately worked for me though is to work in small sections, twist for extra reinforcement, clamp from the bottom, push button to curl, release button to stop (as shown in the video).
The barrel measures 1.25 inches which renders big and relaxed waves. If you have straight and limp hair, you will love this. For wavy-haired gals like me, you may not notice significant difference except for more polished and thrice-smoother waves. Here's a before and after photo for your better judgement.
EDIT 11/8/15 : The makers of T3 have issued a voluntary recall in cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada following reports of injuries/ burn hazard associated with the clamp falling while the product is in use. While I have not personally experienced the aforementioned defect, I won't be using this anymore and I encourage you to do the same in case you own it. Safety first before anything.

Interesting. My hair's probly not mlong enough to make a difference tho hahah
