The second step is hydration. I had the opportunity to try two lip products from Murad from its Age Reform line, the Soothing Skin and Lip Care and Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips. Meant to revitalize lips for a plumper and more youthful appearance, Rapid Infusion for Lips is a milky-white serum which feels cool for few seconds and dries quite velvety. I prefer using it in the morning prior to lipstick application because it also acts as a primer, at least based on my experience. Better lipstick slip and adherence, to be more precise about it. While I didn't notice immediate plumping effect, I will continue to use it as another step to "youth preservation". Anything to delay signs of aging, you bet I'm in.

Besides my husband's soft lips and dog's cold nose, the last object which touches and lingers on my lips before I call it a night is a lip balm. It's un-tinted and fragrance-free.
