Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Powder Foundation: Review and Photos

How's December treating you so far? I am exceedingly busy at work but eagerly looking forward to my 2-week holiday break come December 22nd! 'Can't wait to recharge, relax and pamper myself. 

Today's review is rather straightforward: short without compromising brevity, promise! Still part of my Sephora VIB Rouge haul, Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Powder Foundation earned a coveted spot in my growing list of beauty faves!

In a nutshell, it's a compact powder which mattifies and seals in moisture sans cakey, dry or splotchy look. I like to use it in combination with a BB Cream, in particular with Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Beauty Booster and Guerlain Super Aqua Serum BB Hydra+.

Consistent to all Guerlain products, this powder foundation is luxuriously-presented, what with the hefty lacquer case, velvet pouch, decent-sized mirror, high quality sponge, and inviting fragrance!

Available in four shades, I purchased 03 Beige Natural, a suitable fit for my medium skin tone. While it's marketed as a powder foundation, I don't think it's enough to use it on its own unless you don't need much coverage or you are photoshop-flawless! Seriously, I am nowhere near so this falls under a setting powder category. I use the accompanying sponge to set my under eye concealer and fluffy powder brush for the rest. It's finely-milled, very lightweight and looks natural.
