Givenchy belongs to the top three brands I constantly stalk for new releases, particularly in the lipstick department. So why do I love Givenchy you ask? the formula in general is topnotch and the leather case is utterly fashion-forward. It's for the woman with very discriminating taste. Mature, check, mod double check.

Givenchy Le Rouge-À-Porter is a newly-released collection ($34, Sephora). With 16 shades to choose from, these lipsticks are long and slender with balmy texture and sheer finish. It's like Giselle Bundchen in a tube, what with the modelesque  stance.

I picked up three shades, Rose Avant-Garde (pink), Beige Floral (nude), Brun Vintage (brown berry).

Like earlier mentioned, these are sheer so if you're into delicate and neutral shades, you will love these beauties. Although they tug a little when swiped, they are very hydrating and sit well on the lips without accentuating lines. They do require reapplication because wear time is rather short-lived, I'd say three hours, give or take.
