Holiday Gift Guide For The High-End Loving Beauty Junkie

Contrary to what most people think, the ultimate beauty junkie is the easiest to please when it comes to gift-giving. So what if she has a drawer-full of makeups. She earned the title because she believes that red lipstick comes in hundred and one shades and nude palette is warm, cool, or anything in between. Therefore, regardless of your budget, she's predictably the most appreciative. Yes, I speak with bias because I am one, haha!

This week, select members of The Beauty Council collaborated to bring you some of the best Holiday Gift Ideas in the interwebz. Consider it your resource in the beauty category. I decided to do a gift guide dedicated to high-end loving bellas- she can be your sister, mom, best friend, colleague, wife, partner or YOU. Top of my list is Tom Ford Lip Color Matte, a great collection for the matte-loving lipstick junkie! I have reviewed Black Dahlia (dark wine) here, Pussycat (mauve pink) and Velvet Cherry (dark red) here. Can't decide which one? a set this fabulous deserves thousand smooches!

Another holiday release that will send any beauty junkie to lalala-cray-cray-land ? Guerlain Palette Petrouchka (reviewed here)! It's a limited edition featuring five buttery-soft eyeshadows and four mini-blushes housed in matte gold compact case. Chic and classy, it's daintily wrapped with red bow meant for instant gift-giving!

With massive collection to boot, you can engage in a blind purchase yet still make any woman feel orgasmic with Gucci! Green minds scream oh yeah, haha! I have reviewed Autumn Fire, an all-around neutral eyeshadow palette. With ten quads, 18 mono's, and 7 duo's to choose from, there  will never be a room for error. Gucci = eye candy, trust me.

My favorite Sephora exclusive, Bite Beauty released a limited holiday edition called Mix and Mingle featuring the brand's best sellers in deluxe sizes: 5 luminous creme, 3 matte crayon, 2 lip gloss. The luminous and matte formulas feel creamy and hydrating (see rave reviews here, here and here).

If I were to choose one perfect red lipstick which is universally flattering (out of all the holiday releases to-date), hands-down Guerlain 820 Rouge Parade is my #1 pick. From the red case to its ingenious packaging, this lipstick was made with a feisty woman in mind. Check out more details here. 

Colder months make skin ever so dry. Revive the glow with GlamGlow Power Mud (review here). It's a mud mask which transforms to a cleansing oil when rinsed. It smells like freshly-sliced apple with some tingling, the least among GlamGlow variants I have tried. With all the holiday events lined up, your skin needs some pampering!

Graduate from black and get more creative with eyeliners! This petite set from Marc Jacobs is a great way to try the brand. It features seven water and budge-proof eyeliners, from golden bronze to forest green, 'tis the time to be festive! A versatile hair tool, GHD is one of the best styling tools I have tried. Create curls of different dimensions or straighten hair with unbelievable shine, let your mane be the main attraction this holiday season!

Fragrance is relative but if you're looking for something that's sexy, grown-up, not too musky  and overall sophisticated, you'll love the new fragrance from Burberry called My Burberry.
