Product Review: Wet n Wild Summer 2011 Limited Edition

It's almost summer, and there is no other time to rock that sun-kissed look than now. Hot, sexy, bold, unpretentious. Don't you just adore summertime?

Wet n Wild launched its limited summer edition, in particular this bronzer and eye makeup tandem. Both items come in brownish-bronze cases to distinguish them from their staple all-year-round makeup line.

Called "The Gilded Age", this eye makeup from the ColorIcon series has 3 coordinating shades.

Swatches of 1) "eyelid"   2)  "crease"  3) brow bone

Shade guides      How they appear to me
"Eyelid"                Cross between gold and bronze; pigmented; shimmery
"Crease"               Deep/chocolate brown; pigmented; with tiny gold specks
"Brow bone"         Flesh/Nude; pigmented; shimmery

Don't limit the uses of these shades. Although they are marked as to where they're supposed to be applied, you can use the gold/bronze and flesh/nude shades as your base color and deep brown for  your eyelids.  Makeup is self-expression, and what you do is always a form of art.

Called "Everything Under the Sun", this bronzer is a multi-tasker.

This bronzer has a good color pay-off especially among fair and light-skinned. It only comes in one shade so if your skin tone is warmer/darker, you may need to apply or build more until you are satisfied with the result. It has a slight shimmer which gives your face a subtle hint of sun-kissed radiance.

Think outside the box. You can use the shades, five in all, as your eye makeup too. Talk about functionality.

And here's my version of the Sun-kissed makeup using both products:

On to my Kissmark analysis...

Eye shadow: Value for money, Pigmented, Good quality

Bronzer: Only one shade available. Multi-tasking product.
